Sark Tourism | Wild Flower Fortnight

Wild Flower Fortnight, 24th April - 8th May

With no cars and virtually no pollution, Sark is one of the few remaining unspoilt islands in the western world. Each Spring, the island comes alive in a blaze of blue, pink and white as the spectacular wild flowers dominate the coastal paths and headlands.

Visit Sark between the 24th April and 8th May as the Island celebrates this natural beauty with the annual Wild Flower Fortnight. Event patron, Professor David Bellamy, said his recent trip to Sark was 'like stepping back in time'. Participate in Wild Flower Walks every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10.30am from the Visitor Centre; 2pm on Sunday afternoons from La Sablonnerie, Little Sark (£3, booking advised). A special exhibition runs for the entire event at Sark's Visitor Centre.

A special booklet detailing 7 Wild Flower Walks is on sale at the Visitor Centre, priced at £2. The booklet is ideal for anyone who wishes to undertake a self-guided walk along some of Sark's most beautiful routes. Although written to include information about the Spring Wild Flowers, the walks are equally rewarding at any time of the year.
