Gouliot Caves
These famous caves are under the Gouliot headland on Sark's west coast. A narrow cliff-top path leads down into a vast open cave which bisects the headland. It is possible to stand and look across Havre Gosselin and out towards Little Sark. After a short scramble, the cave leads down to a small pebble beach. The exploring of these caves should only be attempted with an experienced guide.)

Caption: Entrance to the Jewel Cave
The entrance to the Jewel Cave is only accessible on a very low tide as the water-level and associated swell usually makes it too awkward for all but the most determined of explorer. Once inside, the inner cave containing the anemones can easily be explored on foot. These beautiful creatures can be found in a multitude of different shades - yellow, orange, green, red, mauve and pink. They line the walls along with a variety of sponges and sea-squirts.
