Sheltered Bays
Even on those days when there is a strong wind, you can always find a sheltered bay. If the wind is blowing from the North/South, the best beach to be on is La Grande Grêve. When it is coming from the North/South West, the most sheltered places are Port Gorey, or the beaches of Derrible or Dixcart.)

If the wind is blowing from the North West/South East, the best bays are Les Fontaines Bay or Grêve de la Ville. When it is coming from the East/South West, the most sheltered beach is Port du Moulin or Le Port à la Jument.
